Driverless TTC shuttle may take residents to GO station, or Rouge Park:Mayor John Tory says West Rouge trial is a first for Toronto

The city has selected Scarborough's West Rouge neighbourhood to be the testing ground for a pilot project of autonomous vehicles. John Tory revealed the city hopes to start operating an autonomous vehicle service to Scarborough's Rouge Hill GO Transit station by September 2020.

A driverless shuttle could start shuttling people from Scarborough’s West Rouge neighbourhood to the nearby Rouge Hill GO Station by next September, Toronto Mayor John Tory says.
