Oakwood Vaughan residents a step closer to creating community hub

Sue Sneyd, (left), her son Malcolm Bone, Bill Worrell and Prophetess Reid, of The Oakwood Vaughan Neighbourhood Action Partnership wants to create a community hub at Vaughan Road Academy, since it's been shut down due to declining enrolment. The group is hosting a big public event May 10 to discuss the community hub.

The community has its collective foot in the door of Vaughan Road Academy – a first step toward creating a community hub at the former secondary school that was initially shut down because of low enrolment.
