Parkdale rent strike ends as landlord drops rent increase application:Tenants at 1251 King St. W. were on strike nearly three months

Tenants of 1251 King Street West are declaring victory after landlord Nuspor Investments announced Monday it was dropping plans to increase rents above the standard provincial limit.

Tenants at 1251 King St. W. are celebrating after the property’s owner announced it has withdrawn an application to the Ontario Landlord and Tenant Board for a rent increase over the standard allowable limit.
