Toronto would benefit from more gender equity at city hall:Women make up 58 per cent of TTC users but less than 20 per cent of the board, writes Dai Williams

According to the latest census, women make up just over 51 per cent of Toronto’s population. However, the current council has just 32 per cent women with only one woman of colour — and just three of the 13-member executive committee are women.
