What's the buzz in Toronto's Mount Dennis neighbourhood?:A local landscaping firm is designing bee-friendly environments

Nancy Rychel (left), Restorative Landscapes' Andrew Roy and Dark Nubia's Brother Fekade work on planting a banana tree in a roadside flower box along Weston Road. The Mount Dennis Community Association and BIA are working on turning Mount Dennis into a bee friendly, eco-neighbourhood.

The Mount Dennis Business Improvement Area (BIA) is continuing its quest to make the neighbourhood more inviting for bees by filling the cement planters and hanging baskets along the retail strip with pollinator and eco-friendly flowers and greenery
